Give God the Pen

Give God permission to write your story. Give Him the pen. Then willingly step into the story God writes for you.

First, I want to thank you for your patience while I went “blog silent” for a while. I also want to wish my beautiful daughter a Happy Birthday! I love you daddy time! I love you Big Time! (only she will understand  )

Since my last post I have:

  1. Continued working out on a pretty regular basis.
  2. Celebrated my 21st wedding anniversary with my beloved wife ♥♥.
  3. Traveled to Canada, Mexico, New York and Las Vegas.
  4. Had another birthday.
  5. Watched my oldest graduate high school and get his license, and my younger two have ended and started school and had birthdays.
  6. Joined a church softball team.
  7. Got a new pet (fish) named Rocket.
  8. Started having youth worship practice in our basement.
  9. Read the entire Bible (well…listened to it from the You Version Bible App).
  10. Enjoyed a family vacation to Branson, MO.
  11. Camped out at a youth manhood retreat.
  12. Stayed focused on my goal to “Seek first the Kingdom” of God.  #S1tK

My sincere desire is that you have had a wonderful spring and summer, and are ready for this next season of your life as well.

Seek First the Kingdom:

Our youth pastor said this recently and it was very encouraging for me. He said to give God permission to write your story. Give Him the pen. Then willingly step into the story God writes for you.

The Jason Ellsworth Band posted the Meme I used for the blog photo.

Take a few moments with me and watch the creative writing of God unfold in your life.

Love and Blessin’s,

David
